The Manzanita tree grows on mountians,rocky hillsides and charrpal. It grow along the costal plains in the evergreen forest from nothen California to britsh cloumia.

In the erly April flowers start to blom then after a couple weeks later fruit will start to grow also know as Manzanita berries.

Manzanita trees are a good place for huming birds to rest because the huming bird is ateracted to the Manzanita tree. Also butterflies and bees cpme to because it is a good place to pollenate.
